Peoples’ Global Action was the initial linking network that inspired the decentralized Global Action Days against the World Trade Organisation, World Bank, and International Menetary Fund, including the blockades of summit meetings between 1998 and 2005. It played a key role in initiating the global confrontation of peoples’ movements with corporate globalisation.
